Pear wood:

This wood is characterized by a fine grain; it is very hard and naturally water-resistant, making it ideal for brushes. The pear wood comes from the region where Germany, Switzerland, and Austria meet. Most of our pear wood is at least 100 years old, though this is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Bristles:

Wild boar bristles are known for their thickness and durability. They are able to remove buildup from the scalp while stimulating hair growth. Additionally, by removing this buildup, they add shine to the hair.

These bristles come from a wild breed of boar native to the high mountains of China.

Cleaning

First, remove loose hair and dandruff by hand. Then, wash the brush in lukewarm water with a little shampoo. Dip only the bristles into the water and swish the brush back and forth. Make sure the brush handle doesn’t absorb too much moisture. Then rinse the brush thoroughly in clean water and lay it on a towel to dry, with the bristles facing down. Avoid drying it near radiators—room temperature is ideal.

Example of use

This brushing technique brings calm to your daily routine, distributes natural sebum, and nourishes your hair—
and gently stimulates your scalp and lymphatic system.

Your step-by-step guide:

1. Always brush dry hair.
Ideally before washing—or in the evening as part of your beauty routine.

2. Start at the nape of your neck.
Tilt your head slightly forward and brush from bottom to top—gently from the hairline at the nape of your neck up to the back of your head.

3. Brush the sides.
First the left side above the ear,
then the right side,
working from the roots down through the lengths each time.

4. Continue from the hairline at the forehead to the crown.
With long, gentle strokes—feel free to repeat several times.

5. Now part your hair down the middle.
And brush with gentle pressure from the parting down the sides—
this way, you’re stroking along the lymphatic pathways
and helping the system detoxify and release.

6. Finally: once through the lengths.
Now you can blend everything together: from the roots to the tips.
The sebum is distributed, the hair shines—without any product.

How many washes do your shampoos last for?

That's generally a difficult question to answer, because everyone has different hair and different hair-washing habits.

We recommend using 10–15 ml of shampoo per wash. Depending on how often you wash your hair, this should last you up to 1–3 months.

We always recommend using a boar-bristle brush with the shampoos so that you can distribute the oils evenly throughout the lengths of your hair on days when you don't want to wash it.

In our experience, this allows you to keep your hair looking nice and clean for several days between washes.

How does the application differ from that of conventional products?

At True Organic Cosmetics, we strive to offer you products that are easy and convenient to use. Our products have been formulated to be used in much the same way as conventional products. If you already have experience with conventional products, you won’t notice any major differences when using ours.

However, due to the natural ingredients and the use of sustainable packaging materials, there may be some differences. We therefore recommend that you carefully read the instructions on the packaging of our products before using them. If you have any further questions about how to use our products, our staff will be happy to assist you.

How long do your products last?

The shelf life of our products varies depending on the product type and storage conditions. Generally, the shelf life of our products ranges from 6 to 12 months. To maintain the quality of our products, proper storage and adherence to usage instructions after opening are essential.

We recommend protecting our products from direct sunlight and high temperatures to ensure optimal shelf life. It is advisable to check the expiration date on the product packaging to ensure that the product is still in optimal condition and can be used.
